Sometimes . . .

Sometimes I look at his pictures and I truly cannot imagine going through the rest of my life without him. It scares me.

  1. Oh Shannon, your posts are so heart-wrenching! I send you my love.

And keep writing, I really enjoyed your articles! Especially the one about online friendships!

  2. Thanks Inga, and I send you my love right back. I'm so glad that we are friends!

I will be keeping up with the writing, trust me! I have three book ideas that I am going to start working on as soon as Maxx is finished with school. One is Keeghan's story, of course.

I'm also going to try to turn a story that Keeghan was writing into a childrens book. I have to re-type it exactly the way he wrote it first though, and then figure out a way to finish it that I think is true to his vision.

The last book is going to be a compilation of sorts - I have asked all the moms on my 46 Mommas St. Baldrick's team to write their own story about how they decided to be on this team and I'm going to turn THAT into a book also.

So this might become my vent place when all of that becomes a major frustration and I just need to write for fun!

  3. That sounds great, Shannon! It is going to be really tough, I think, writing three books, and all books that are going to be so emtionally charged, so gut-wrenching. You know you'll always have us for support!!
I was really touched by your decription of the award night for Maxx. It's great that her commitment got honoured. Too often it's the athletic ability more than the person behind it, that gets the attention. Good for her to have a coach who knows what's important!
